The Trail to Oregon
Production Role - Actor - McDoon & Everyone Else
The Trail to Oregon by Nick & Matt Lang, Brian Holden, and Jeff Blim, was put on by the Morris Meiningens Student Theatre Organization in the winter of 2024. This was an incredibly fun and wild ride to be on throughout the run of the show! As the winter show at UMM it was entirely directed, designed, and produced by students in tandem with Meiningens and in association with the theatre discipline, and it had a very short amount of time to get it up on its feet. Cast before our winter break, with only a little rehearsal time before the end of the semester, upon returning we had less than a month before the show opened. As a full length musical this was a heavy task, but everything came together absolutely wonderfully, and I had an absolute blast working alongside my fellow actors as I switched between over ten different roles as well as my fellow executive members of Meiningens as I served as club Co-Chair. With so many, costume changes, voice changes, and physicality changes constantly happening one after another for me, the show really did just go on with a nonstop list of hilarious characters to bring forth. Also having the show as a very improv heavy show, where the audience picks many character names as well as who dies, no two shows were ever the same and the beautiful chaos was a joy to take part in!

I also had the opportunity to edit the footage and audio of one of the shows together into a polished video experience of the musical!
