Production Role - Actor - Jack Rabbit

Tortoise vs. Hare 2: This Time it's Personal by Sean Abley was put on by the University of Minnesota Morris Theatre Discipline in the spring of 2024 as that year's annual children's show. I have known for many years of my love for good quality children's media that teaches good lessons, is fun and enjoyable, but most importantly also does not talk down to its audience. This show cemented my love for that art in theatre, as I can now confidently say that children's theatre is easily one of my favorite styles to work in. Getting to use my years of experience working with children in camp and other settings to create and bring to life the character of Jack Rabbit was a joy! The bouncy bunny goes through such an endearing transformation throughout the story, and his learning of kindness and good sportsmanship was an incredibly fun (and hilarious) arc to go on throughout the play! A fantastic piece of children's theatre to work on, and one that will certainly remain fondly in my mind for years to come!
